Vacation Rental
Client Objectives
As a start up company ResortQuest faced
the daunting task of tying together newly
acquired vacation rental and real estate
companies into one branded product. It was
imperative that a consumer could come to
the website and view all of the vacation
rental and real estate inventory, see pictures,
compare rates and book their vacation online
in real-time or view real estate for sale
across all geographical locations. Each
vacation management and real estate company
needed to have the ability to maintain their
inventory and website in-house.
Solutions
Create a comprehensive database to house
all pertinent information about the ResortQuest
inventory. Create web-based content tools
to allow each company to add, update, edit
and delete information in the database.
To solve the objective of real time availability
checking and booking we wrote a custom interface
into the different property management systems.
